Program Description

Bachelor of Technical Teacher Education is a four-year degree program that provides students with the knowledge and skills to teach technical-vocational course on Food and Service Management. It aims to equip students with a strong theoretical understanding of teaching and technology. The Bachelor of Technical Teacher Education program inculcates in students a deep understanding of the teaching and learning principles and theories needed in teaching technical-vocational courses. It also discusses how the educational processes relate to larger historical, social, cultural and political processes.

Qualifications

• The student must be a senior high school graduate of any of the following programs:
  
  • General Academic Strand (GAS)
  • TVL- Home Economics (TVL-H.E)

However, if they were not able to graduate high school, they may opt to take the Alternative Learning System (ALS) and pass the Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) to qualify for college; the availability of courses for PEPT passers depend on the institution.

Program Description

As a field of study, Accounting Information System is a profession that combines knowledge in business, accounting and computer systems. It involves partnering with managements operations and decision-making by coordinating the information technology activities, providing expertise in choosing the best software or designing and maintaining the overall information system, assessing the integrity of the system and recommending improvements to assist the management in the formulation and implementation of an organization's strategy.

Accounting Information System professional are expected to: (a) apply accounting, financial, and computer skills; (b) ensure these skills are applied in the context of business; (c) to influence the decisions, actions and behavior of others; and (d) lead the organization at the different level.

Program Description

The Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship is a four-year degree program that centers on how to start and manage a business by combining management, accounting, finance, and marketing principles. This program is designed in order to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills in identifying business opportunities, business planning, financing, company valuation, and business management. 

Recommended Senior High School Strand

Students who want to pursue a degree in Entrepreneurship are encouraged to take the Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) strand. This strand provides the basic concepts of business and financial management, and corporate operations which will be helpful in their college journey.

However, students may also opt to take the General Academic Strand (GAS) if they prefer a wider range of topics. The GAS strand has a flexible curriculum where students can learn from the electives of all the other academic strands.

Program Description

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program includes the study of computing concepts and theories, algorithmic foundations and new development in computing. The program prepares students to design and create algorithmically complex software and develop new and effective algorithms for solving computing problems.

The program also includes the study of standards and practices in Software Engineering. It prepares students to acquire skills and disciplines required for designing, writing and modifying software components, modules and applications that comprise software solutions.
